Du(3) Sijing [10004] The third son of Feng [10001], he began his career as did his brothers as changguan of Weisheng jun, a post his father received as a reward for his surrender to the Mongols in about 1234. Sijing had a far more successful career than his brothers, holding several high posts in the Yuan censorate. He was also the author of the Ji sheng ba cao [fang], 19 ch., and reputed author of several other medical texts. Notices of his writings appear in JS, YWZ, 46a and YS, YWZ, 3.14a. The JS notice identifies the text as completed during the period 1314-1320. The Gest library edition call number is 9100/1035.89. CHECK WDY for prefaces, etc. WDY, 1, 570.
