Hong(1) Bi [10161] Wei(5) Liaoweng [4001] composed both Bi's funerary inscription and a lamentation prayer (letter? ku. . .shu) for his son-in-law Yang(2) Ruming [11062], a Sichuan, Meizhou, Qingshen county resident. It is, therefore, also probable that Bi's son-in-law Liao(1) Gongfu [13958] is a brother or cousin of Liao(1) Gongxuan [13957] (jinshi in jiading [Sichuan TZ, 123.34b] and Liao(1) Gongrong [13956] (jinshi in 1205 [Sichuan TZ, 123.27b], both Xu(a)zhou, Yibin (later split into Yibin and Xuanhua) county residents (Cheng(1) Gongyue [13806] and his younger brothers moved to Xuanhua and the Xuzhou Liao and Cheng both appear in the jinshi lists during the same period and share generational names). It is difficult to ascribe all these facts to coincidence. Since Bi's father-in-law was Wei(5) Anxing [1940], it is possible that Anxing and Liaoweng are kin and also possible that Bi moved to Sichuan. Wei Liaoweng, WJ, 71.3b-7b. CBD, 2, 1503.
