Liang(1) Shi [1137] His ancestors were Anding jun Liang(1). Hao's [1133] son, Gu(1)'s [1135] brother. He was appointed to his initial position when he presented the emperor with the collected papers (wenji) of his father. He subsequently passed the jinshi examination. His wife, born Ren(1), was probably from the same lineage as his elder brother Gu's wife and the other Ren affines of the Liang lineage. Zimei's [1142] grandfather, father of Yanshen [3565], the son-in-law of Ren(1) Zhongshi's [877] son, Ren(1) Gongzhi [3428]. Shi was the father-in-law of Zhang(1) Hong's [8013] granddaughter and he was Dong(1) Zhengfeng's [1736] great grandfather-in-law. Zijing [1141] has the same generational name as his grandsons. Xingzu [7283] and Yangzu [1143] have the same generational names as all of his great grandsons. Zhu(1) Yanmei's [534] son-in-law, Liang(1) Qingzu [3557], was a great grandson.
