Zhang(2) Yuan [12969] The Fujian TZ, 147.33a has him as Dun's [333] son, who would seem to have returned with other sons to the ancestral home (Fujian TZ has Jianan-s rather than Pucheng) except that other sources have him moving from Suzhou to Changxing. Yuan(2) [14048], Dun's great grandson, is also listed as having made the same moves. Yuan(2) uses the water radical in his mingzi as do the other great grandsons of Dun and Jie(3) [345] and sons of Fu [336] (Yongkang) and other Changxing Zhang(2), who begin to appear in the Wuxing jinshi lists at the logical chronological period. I am treating Yuan as a nephew of Jie [334] [1st Changxing Zhang(2)] and Changxing Zhang(2) with the water radical in their mingzi as nephews of Yuan.
