Guan(1) Lu [13387] He used the jinshi to establish his family branch of the lineage (qijia). However, his background could not have been plebian given marriage connections. He is listed as a Qiantang resident (modern Hangxian) as is his eldest son Jingfen [13388] and Zeng Gong's funerary inscription for Jingren's [13368] wife, born Zhou, also says that these are Qiantang people. His wife and his son's wife both buried in Qiantang, which probably remained the burial ground for the lineage. In both the Liangzhe jinshi zhi jinshi list for Shaoxing and in the Zhejiang TZ, his sons, after Jingfen, are all listed as Shaoxing residents. In the Xianchu Linan zhi, 61.3b-4b, sons Guan(1) Qi [937], Xisheng [13390], and Jingren are listed with indication that actual residence 'guan' was Shaoxing (with note for Jingren indicating that since his father was a Qiantang jinshi, even though his residence was Shaoxing, he should be included in the Hangzhou list). I am also including Zhao [13394] and Zhi [13395], whose address is Qiantang, but who both have the generational names of Lu's grandsons, as Shaoxing Guan(1) jinshi as I do Jingren's son, Zhu [13393]. Some of these people may have moved back to Hangzhou. The evidence sugests that the lineage segmented with his generation and that Lu moved to Shaoxing from Hangzhou. Zhejiang TZ, 123.20a.
