Pu(1) Zongmeng [1408] His great great grandfather served as a local official in the kingdom of Shu during the Five Dynasties. His great grandfather collected books. His grandfather was thrice recommended by the community for the exams (xiangjian), but retired. His father, Shidao [3706], arrived in the capital for the exams quota in 1030 (jinshi gong), passed at the age of 20 and died at the age of 46. He had seven sisters married to literati (shiren).
