Zeng(1) Ji [1692] Ji's ancestors were Ganzhou residents who later moved to Henan, Henan xian. He was buried in Shaoxing, Shanyin xian. I am making his elder brother, Kai [13481], the migrant. His father Zhun's [3901] brothers-in-law were Kong(1) Wuzhong [3438] and his brother, Kong(1) Pingzhong [901]. Ji was Pan's [7365] grandfather, Qian(1) Xie's [145] grandson-in-law. His son-in-law, Lu(9) Daqi [3652], was Lu(9) Zuqian's [7055] father. His grandsons-in-law included L?1) Zuqian's [7055] younger brother, L?1) Zujian [3655], Zhan(1) Jingzhi's [7146] younger brother and Zhan(1) Dafang's [168] son, Zhan(1) Huizhi [3116], Li(2) Guang's [8079] youngest son, Li(2) Mengzhuan [3522], and Wang(2) Yu(3)'s [1932] son, Wang(2) Zhongxing [3942]. Another grandson-in-law Xing(1) Shicai's [3372] ancestors were Qingzhou residents, who moved to Kaifeng and then during the early Southern Song moved to Shaoxing, Shanyin xian and may, therefore, have had some distant kinship ties with Xing(1) Shu [7106]. Another grandson-in-law, Ye(1) Ziqiang [4079], was a Chuzhou, Jinyun resident, who was Suzhou, Kunshan xian magistrate in 1176 and may have had some distant kinship ties with Ye(1) Tao [7404]. Finally, Ji's grandson-in-law, the 1169 Huizhou, Xixian jinshi Zhang(1) Zhen(4) [3137], was almost certainly a descendant of Zhang(1) Bing [269], a 980 jinshi and the first of a series of successful Huizhou, Yixian Zhang(1). Zhang(1) Zhen(4) was promoted from supervisor of government office provisions to Junqi jian zhubu in 1194 and served as Jiangxi tiju in 1202. The careers of the other grandsons-in-law are noted under their respective family entries. Ji's son, Dai [3910], was Hubu langzhong in 1168 and Liangzhe yunpan in 1172.
