Feng(4) Shi [4223] Zhu(1) Ang's [512] son-in-law. Liang and Jing's [607] kinship connections with Zhu(1) Ang [512] as well as the generational name similarities between the two Feng(4) suggest that they may be kin, probably Jing's father Shi and Liang are the same people since Shi is identified as Ang's son-in-law in Shi's wife's funerary inscription and only Liang is listed in Ang's funerary inscription. There seems to ge a general confusion in the sources between Ma(2) Liang [1349] and Feng(4) Liang, both holding similar posts in chronological sequence. Since Shi held no office, I am going to treat all references to Feng Liang as meaning Ma(2) Liang. Wife's funerary inscription identifies him as a Shiping Feng. Jiangxi TZ, 9.12a, 13b; Fujian TZ, 4.7b; XCB, 47.6a, 60.4a, 61.21a, 62.5b, 67.1a, 5b; SHY:ZG, 42.15a. Wang Gui, WJ, 55.5a-8a (wife, born Zhu, who married him at age 14 and died in 1066 at age 72).
