Xue(1) Liangpeng [805] When Fang(1) La [3298] attacked the city walls of Ruian county, Liangpeng and his younger brother, Lianggui [3390], led the community troops (xiangbing) and successfully resisted the rebel attack. His maternal granduncle was Xu(4) Jingheng [8061]. Jingheng's elder brother, Jingliang [18679], was the father-in-law of Xue(1) Deyu [18664], who was, therefore, the father of Liangpeng, Lianggui and their elder brother, Liangxian [804]. Chen Fuliang traces ancestry to Xiapu county jinshi in 706, Lingzhi [10556], as well as connecting this branch of the lineage to that of Xue(1) Bi [806]. I am assuming that father, Deyu, made the move from Yongjia to Ruian and that Deyu's lineal ancestor was Xue(1) Huairen [10557], who made the move from Fujian to Wenzhou.
