注
Li(2) Gang [8078] His ancestors were Longxi jun Li(2), members of the Tang imperial family, who lived in Jiangnan. A member of this lineage was prefect of Jianzhou where he died in office and his family stayed there. In 908, this part of Jianzhou was made into Shaowu jun (p.1). Wanli Changzhou FZ, 11B.11a lists him as a Wuxi county jinshi, a source which also records his father, Kui [3510], as a Wuxi county resident. Kui must have moved to Wuxi and Gang's descendants must have moved back to Shaowu. Gang's grandmother was Huang(2) Lu's [8066] younger sister. Gang was Kui's [3510] son, Wei(1)'s [1107] elder brother (p. 3). Zhang(1) Gen's [255] son-in-law (she died in 1152 [xingzhuang] (p.12), father of the betrothed of Zhou(1) Chi's [476] granddaughter, Li(2) K [4159], brother of the wife of Zhou(1) Chi's [476] grandson-in-law, Zhang(1) Jin [3128], and affinal relation of Liu(2) Yi [1201]. His mother, Wu(3) Shi, was from an aristocratic lineage (wangzu) originally from Shaoxing, Shanyin xian which subsequently moved to Chuzhou, Longquan xian to avoid a late Tang local rebellion. Her aunt (her grandfather's daughter) was Lu(5) Bi's [7051] wife. This Lu(5) was an important Shaoxing, Shanyin lineage. Gang's brother-in-law, Zhang(1) Duanli [3168], was from a prominent Chuzhou, Longquan xian lineage (zhuxing). One of Duanli's two sons-in-law was Gang's son, Zongzhi [3538], and the second was Gang's nephew, Linzhi [3516]. Gang's and Shen's [1073] (qv) lineages were probably related. Gang's grandson, Dayou [3535], was Tiju Fujian shibo in 1208. Fujian TZ, 32.17b; Li Gang, WJ, 169.2a, 'xingzhuang, shang, zhong, xia;' Li Gang nianpu [pages refer to nianpu]; Yang Shi, WJ, 32.1a, 10b. See also 'fulu' for authors of sacrificial prayers, posthumous name essay, etc. CBD, 2, 901-3.
