Rong(1) Ni [888] Father-in-law of Hu(1) Su's [8064] great grandson, Hu(1) Jianchang [3396]. CBD identifies him as a Yizhen native solely on the basis of the residence of younger sister, wife of a Ma(2) Yuanying [otherwise unidentified], when bandits attacked the city in 1128. Yuanying has the same generational name as Ma(2) Yuanfang [1355], a Pu(b)zhou native, which suggests a Shandong ancestry for Rong(1) Yi as well. Rong(1) Zongfan [19143] was the son-in-law of Li(2) Lingxun [1060], a Puzhou resident. It seems unlikely that a person of no background could have pursued the career of Rong(1) Yi. Since a Rong(1) Rixuan [19148] was a Suzhou juren in 1198 [who I am going to tentatively identify as a grandson of Yi] and I am going to make the assumption that Yi was a great grandnephew of Rong(1) Zhen [19146] and that he moved from Jining to Wuxian, new address of his son-in-law, Hu(1) Jianchang, at the beginning of the S.
